Finally getting a monitor stand gave my home office a way to put my monitor on a pedestal, for a lack of better way to put it.

I’ve always been a big fan of home office gadgets and accessories that can continue to optimize the way I work, as I’m sitting for so many hours. Finding out about monitor stands was new for me, and now I’ve found that there are so many affordable ones for work-from-home professionals.

While monitor stands come in all sorts of varieties and price points, I’ve collected some of the budget-friendly ones that won’t break the bank.

As a note, all these monitor stands are under $75; and most of them actually fall in the $20-40 range, which is perfect for any home office on a budget.

Flexispot Bamboo Monitor Stand

This is the monitor stand I got to elevate my monitor a few inches off my standing desk surface. It’s sturdy, has a nice bamboo look to it and lets me store some things under it, like my keyboard, if I want to clear my desk.

It’s been working out nicely; the only thing is that it’s wide, so I can’t use my laptop on its stand while it’s on my desk. It would be good for someone who uses a small laptop like a 13” one, without a laptop stand. You can see all my thoughts at my Flexispot Bamboo Monitor Stand review.

Highlights:

  • It has customizable height options — I’ve used both.
  • At nearly 40” long, it takes up most of my desk. If you have a short desk, consider that this is a big one.

Here are some of my photos after setting it up and starting to use it.

Brightroom White Monitor Stand with Drawer

This monitor stand is compact, and won’t take up much of your desk at all. At 17” long, it’s less than half of the length of the monitor stand that I mention first in this list (the one from Flexispot).

Of course, the drawer is the best aspect of it if you are looking for a way to fight clutter on your desk, and go for a neat minimalist appearance, all while raising up your second monitor.

Highlights:

  • Minimalist white design brightens up a workspace.
  • Drawer with two compartments is great for storage if your desk doesn’t have drawers.
